По уже сложившейся традиции начало января — тот самый период возвращения к традициям в моем блоге! ;) После полугодовалого перерыва я таки собрался с силами и мыслями, и составил итоговый плейлист, в который вошло все, что я с упоением слушал в течение канувшего в лету, не столь благополучного для Северной Африки, Европы и частично меня (год и вправду был довольно сложным), 2011-го. А вернее его второй половины.
Конкретно для меня одним из главных событий тогда стал выход долгожданного десятого альбома одной из моих по прежнему любимых групп - легендарных РедХотЧилиПепперов под названием I'm with You, хотя бы две композиции из которого без сомнений обязаны были попасть в топ-лист. Мои опасения относительно пластинки не оправдались — сабж и впрямь оказался добротным, насыщенным, качественным, наполненным тем самым духом и задором, присущим бенду, которому не удалось угаснуть даже вопреки предсказаниям скептиков, основанных на событиях вроде, казалось бы, переломным для группы Джона Фрусчанте. И, тем не менее, ребята значительно выросли во всех отношениях (хотя, казалось бы, куда уже?) — музыка, песни стали серьезнее, солиднее, взрослее, наполнились еще более глубоким смыслом (относительно предыдущих альбомов) и, что даже как-то тревожит душу, спокойнее. Я не стал включать в подборку ставшие хитами сингл Rain Dance Maggie и Monarchy of Roses (хотя, поначалу хотелось), а лишь предлагаю (кому в очередной раз) насладиться приятными атмосферными Police Station и Annie Wants a Baby, в которых можно будет услышать голос не только Энтони Кидиса, а еще и другого члена коллектива. :)
Свой отпечаток (в хорошем смысле) оставил новоиспеченный альбом от Coldplay, который пока кажется мне одним из их лучших. Да и клип на песню Paradise не может остаться без всеобщих внимания и умиленных взглядов ^^.
Долгожданные новые Блинки, честно говоря, не впечатлили. И первые минуты прослушивания их нового альбома даже заставили меня подумать, что я все еще слушаю Angels and Airwaves - так стали похожи, на мой взгляд, их стили.
Ну, а дальше — всего по мелочам: White Apple Tree, о которых я уже где-то когда-то рассказывал, чарующий новый трек от Florence and The Machine, гипно-песня o_O от Royksopp, наполненные энергией песни Ghostwolf, легкостью и хорошим настроением — Serenades и, наконец, неуклюжим унынием Snow Patrol, и прочее-прочее-прочее.

Angels & Airwaves - Surrender. Ну, что тут сказать. Весьма неплохой трек из моего "любимого" альбома (это не сарказм, это отсылка к Love). Но во 2 части Любви есть у меня и более "любимые" треки. =)
Serenades - Birds. Недурной инди-поп с использованием альтов и скрипок.
blink-182 - Natives. I'm just a bastard child, don't let it go to your head... Эх, молодцы блинки, что воссоединились. Из всех поп-панк груп они мне наиболее симпатичны. Кстати, в Соседствах много хороших треков, как ни в одном другом их альбоме.
White Apple Tree - Broken Bones, Snowflakes. Когда я скачал и прослушал альбом WAT - Velvet Mustache, я отметил именно эти два трека. Я бы охарактеризовал их стиль как пост-рок. Иные называют это индитроникой. Так или иначе, мне нравится. =)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Police Station, Annie Wants a Baby. Всё намереваюсь скачать последний альбом RHCP, да всё руки не доходят. А ведь когда-то и я фанател от перцев, когда заслушивался Californication и Otherside (мне кажется или я уже это когда-то говорил?).
Coldplay - Charlie Brown, Major Minus. Хороший альбом получился у Колдплея, Крис Мартин пишет замечательные песни, хотя группа немного отошла от стиля, в котором они писались вначале - времён Don't Panic, - но отошла постепенно, альбом за альбомом.
Florence + The Machine - What The Water Gave Me. По моему мнению, это лучший трек двухдискового альбома Ceremonials Флоренции и Машинки. Кстати, демо-версия трека - что на втором диске - тоже великолепна, тёмно-электронно-роковая. Должен сказать, что второй альбом Флоренции вышел более интересным, чем первый.
Snow Patrol - Called Out In The Dark. Хе, довольно неплохая, но довольно попсовенькая песенка с весьма забавным клипом. =) Мне по вкусу.
